Annual Report & Financial Audit

Reporting

The Annual Report is a key accountability document that Boards of Trustees (Boards) are required to prepare to inform and report to stakeholders including the Ministry of Education (the Ministry), Members of Parliament and, most importantly, parents and the wider community of school and kura.

The Annual Report contains the audited annual financial statements for the year.  It shows how the Board has applied the financial resources of the school or kura to achieve the goals set out in the charter.

The Annual Report also contains an analysis of any variance between the planned aims, objectives, directions, priorities, or targets (as set out in the school or kura strategic plan or charter) and what the school or kura has actually achieved during the year. The Analysis of Variance describe how the school or kura has addressed the Board's priorities for improving student achievement, and how successful the approach has been. The Analysis of Variance also provides the basis for plans for the coming year.

Government Donantion Scheme

Mountview School is proud to be part of the Government Donations Scheme. This means we receive funding directly from the government to help support the learning, development, and wellbeing of all our students. Participation in this scheme ensures that essential resources, programmes, and activities are available to every child, helping us provide a high-quality, inclusive education. We are committed to making the most of these funds to enrich our students’ learning experiences and support their growth both inside and outside the classroom.
