Parents
Mountview School has fantastic support from parents and whanau. We have a supportive Board of Trustees with up to five parent representatives. Our parents enjoy participating in the education of their children. They are active in:
- Celebration of Learning Days
- Whanau Group for our Rumaki
- Student led conferences
- Mini fund raising galas
- Parent learning workshops on numeracy and literacy
- Sports coaching
- Performing Arts
- Education Outside the classroom
- Book Fair
Recently parents have a join a Change Team within the school looking at ways we can enhance engagement with our community in order to improve student progress in learning.
